Prison Rehabilitation Jobs Give Hope to Newly Released Prisoners
Hope is Happening.
For many years, social services and government agencies have tried to assist communities in their struggle to overcome poverty, hunger, homelessness, and crime. However, in many cities across the country, despite great amounts of financial assistance, little change has resulted. We believe change occurs in communities one person at a time. True change can only come when we are transformed through faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. A transformation so deep it compels us to reach out to those around us with compassion and love.
We believe in giving men released from prison HOPE.
Hope is creating opportunities for returning citizens to obtain employment so they can become productive members of society. We do this by providing support, education, training, and employment opportunities for returning citizens.
The New Man Project is a 501c3, a tax-exempt nonprofit organization. With the help of donors, volunteers, and other organizations that help prisoners, as well as the sales of handcrafted wood furniture, The New Man Project pays returning citizens a family-supporting wage.
